dated September 18, 1953: Sheikh Abdullah's Failure

Premier Bakshi Ghulam Mohammed told the Kashmir National Conference convention in Srinagar, "Sheikh Abdullah and his colleagues failed as they could not formulate policies in the interest of the State. Abdullah will remain in prison so long, as conditions do not change and his release is detrimental to the interests of Kashmir."
