Seminar on coconut

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 17. A national seminar on "Coconut, coconut products in health and disease'' is being organised by the Kerala University Biochemistry Department at the Kanakakkunnu Palace on September 19 and 20.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, the organising secretary, T. Rajamohan, said the seminar, organised in association with the Coconut Development Board, Union Agriculture Ministry and the Science, Technology and Environment Committee of the State Government, would highlight the importance of the use of coconut and coconut products among the public.

Papers on various topics such as diseases and solutions, coconut oil use and health, importance of tender coconut and other related aspects of coconut.
