Youth Congress functionary murdered

Pondicherry Sept. 18. K.Murali, vice-president of Pondicherry Youth Congress committee, was murdered last night at Madagadipet near here by a 10-member gang.

It is alleged that Murali was standing close to his shop when the gang pounced on him and fatally assaulted him.

Previous enmity between the deceased and his relatives over property rights was said to be the motive.
