Export Cell linked to portal

COIMBATORE: The Export Guidance Cell at the District Industries Centre (DIC) here is connected to the TANSTIA-FNF Service Centre portal. Sources at the DIC said the Export Guidance Cell was started in January. It had two personal computers and exporters could avail themselves of information such as export formalities, list of overseas buyers and products with export potential at the cell. Efforts were also on to collect more details that would help exporters. So far, around 50 new entrepreneurs had visited the cell.

The sources said that the cell had now been linked to the TANSTIA-FNF Service Centre portal. Through this, entrepreneurs would be able to get information such as project reports, industry news, online catalogues and market information.
