Stamp scam: 2 Inspectors transferred

Hyderabad Sept. 18. The DGP, S.R. Sukumara, on Thursday transferred two Hyderabad police Inspectors in connection with the fake stamp papers racket.

The Inspectors of Madannapet and Humayunnagar, Vijender Reddy and Ashwaq Khan, respectively were transferred to the city police control room.

Ghulam Singh and Rajeshwar Reddy will be the new Inspectors of Madannapet and Humayunnagar.

The Begumbazar police had busted the fake stamp papers racket in 1999 when Vijender Reddy was the Inspector there.
