BSNL festival offer for cellular sector

NEW DELHI SEPT. 19. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced two special promotional schemes for its cellular services in view of the approaching festival season. It has decided to provide free talk time equal to Rs. 325 and Rs. 525 for its Scheme 325 and Scheme 525 to all new customers. Named `Dussehera/Puja Scheme' it is valid up to October 5 and the talk time must be consumed by October 31. Any BSNL cellular subscriber under pre-paid or post-paid category is eligible to shift to these plans and avail of the offer but migration in same plan is not permitted.

It has also decided to sell recharge coupons worth Rs. 300, Rs. 500, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 2,000 and the talk time will be equal to the coupon's face value but service tax will be extra. This scheme is valid till October 25 and has been termed Diwali Bonanza. Officials said necessary instructions to all telecom circles have been issued for making arrangements for sufficient recharge coupons at all sales outlets.
