COIMBATORE: Hindustan Motors shifted gears by launching the new variant "Ambassador Grand" here on Thursday. Targeted at bureaucrats and individual buyers, the Grand comes with contemporary technological features such as power steering, power brakes and remote shift gear. Satish Burman, HM's Vice President (marketing), said based on customer feedbacks, 137 design improvements had gone into the car recently. In addition, it also boasts of new acoustic package developed in association with Treves of France and the exhaust has been revamped with walker. The Grand is priced at Rs. 4.18 lakhs (Grand 1sz) and Rs. 4.42 lakhs (Grand Dsz). Our Staff Reporter
