Export awareness seminar

COIMBATORE: The National Centre for Trade Information (NCTI) and the GETIT Infomediary had jointly organised a two-day `export awareness seminar' here. According to the Executive Director of NCTI, Shyam S. Agrawal, the topics covered at the seminar included trade point programme for international trade, an overview on Exim procedures and documentation, standards and quality assurance and an overview of various trade promotion schemes of the Central Government. The NCTI and the GETIT had jointly brought out the Indian Exporters' Index (an exporters' directory) and it was available in print, CD ROM and at www.indianexportersindex.com — Our Staff Reporter
