Officials transferred

NEW DELHI SEPT. 19. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the postings and transfers of some senior level Indian Administrative Service officials.

Lalit Mathur, Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Rural Development has been posted as Director-General, National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad, in the same rank. P.S. Rana, Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources, will take his place in the Ministry of Rural Development.

J. Harinarayan will be replacing Mr. Rana in the Department of Land Resources.

B.S. Lalli, at present, Member-Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board, has been posted as Additional Secretary and Mission Director, Technology Mission on Oilseeds and Pulses, in the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation. B.K. Sundar Ray will succeed him as Member-Secretary, National Capital Regional Planning Board.
