That apart, Mukta Arts has also acquired StarJack during 2002-03 for overseas distribution of its movies, said the company in its annual report for 2002-03. It has acquired 100 per cent equity in StarJack, a company incorporated in Isle of Man in 2002-03, for Rs. 1.56 lakhs. The Subhash Ghai promoted media player is in the process of setting-up a training school, Whistling Woods International Institute, to train students and professionals in the art of film and television. The institute is under construction at the Filmcity in Goregaon, a north-west suburb of Mumbai. The company expects to launch the institute by the beginning of 2005. During 2002-03, Whistling Woods International Pvt. Ltd. (WWIPL), a subsidiary of Mukta Arts, acquired the land from Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Ltd (MFSCDC). WWIPL issued 30,000 equity shares of Rs. 1,000 each, aggregating Rs. 3 crores, as fully paid to MFSCDC for the land acquired. UNI
