SHIMOGA Sept. 20. The police have made tight security arrangement here for Monday's Rajabeedi Utsav (immersion procession) of the Ganesha idol installed by the Hindu Sanghatana Mahamandali at the Bheemeshwara Temple. The Superintendent of Police, H.N. Siddanna, said here on Saturday that the services of four additional superintendents of police, 19 deputy superintendents of police, 49 circle inspectors, 125 sub-inspectors, 40 assistant sub-inspectors, and 2,400 constables, and platoons of the Karnataka State Reserve Police had been requisitioned.
