New train service to Bhuj soon

HYDERABAD SEPT. 20. The Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation, Bandaru Dattatreya, on Saturday announced that shortly, a new direct train service would be introduced between Secunderabad and Bhuj in Gujarat.

At a function organised here by the Gujarati Yuva Mandal, the Minister said he had received representations in this regard from various organisations in the twin cities working on behalf of more than two-lakh Gujaratis here. Mr. Dattatreya later released `G Pages Business Directory', a first-of-its-kind compilation of all the Gujarati families in business in the twin cities.

The function was followed by an impressive Garba Nite. Others present included the chairman of the mandal, Minal Vakharia, and the president, Alpesh Patel.
