LVB revises FCNR, NRE deposit rates

TIRUCHI: Lakshmi Vilas Bank has revised the interest rates on FCNR deposits with effect from September 22. The interest rates for dollar deposits for 1-2 years will be 1.10 per cent, for 2-3 years 1.65 per cent and for 3 years 2.30 per cent. Likewise, the interest rates on deposits in British pound sterling for the above said periods will be 3.77 per cent, 4.05 per cent and 4.25 per cent and the interest rates for Euro deposit it will be 2.05 per cent, 2.45 per cent and 2.80 per cent respectively. The interest rates on NRE deposits for 1-2 years will be 2.30 per cent, 2-3 years 2.90 per cent and 3 years and above 3.50 per cent, according to a release.
