Natco Pharma to focus on contract research

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad-based Natco Pharma will be laying emphasis on undertaking contract research for corporates within and outside India, and it intends to develop contract research activity as an independent business segment. According to the 20th annual report, the company proposes to enter the generics market in a big way, and suitable upgradation of manufacturing facilities and training of personnel to enhance skills is being undertaken on a continuous basis.
