Sundaram Mutual to pay 15 p.c.

CHENNAI: Sundaram Mutual has proposed to declare a dividend of 15 per cent (Rs. 1.50 per unit) in Sundaram Growth Fund — dividend option, with record date on September 26. Sundaram Growth Fund was launched in April 1997 and sought to achieve capital appreciation by investing in a well-diversified basket of equity products. The fund has delivered an annualised return of 54.08 per cent for a one year period (as on August 29). The proposed dividend is the fifth from Sundaram Growth Fund since inception and third dividend in 2003, says a release.
