CHANDIGARH: Filmstar-turned-politician Raj Babbar (in picture) said on Tuesday that he was planning a film based on the life of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in both English and Hindi with a big star cast. The Rs. 25-crore project would be shot in Punjab, Rajasthan and Lahore, said Mr. Babbar, whose last production was Shaheed Udham Singh. He, however, refrained from disclosing the cast of the film, saying, "All I can tell is that the star cast would be big." The shooting of the film would commence in November. Mr. Babbar said he had met the Punjab Chief Minister, Amrinder Singh, in connection with the project.
