WASHINGTON: Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid has been voted the best-ever buddy movie. The 1969 classic, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford (in picture) as robbers, topped a poll of 6,000 film buffs. Next was Thelma And Louise, starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, although buddy films usually suggest male lead pairs. The Blues Brothers, Wayne's World and Dumb And Dumber were the next three. According to the film rentals giant, Blockbuster, Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey are the pair fans most want to see.
