Kalam's itinerary

KOZHIKODE SEPT. 23. The final arrangements for the programmes of the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, in the district on September 25 have been completed.

According to an official release, the President who would start from the Rashtrapathi Bhavan at 6.50 a.m. on September 25 would reach Karipur Airport at 10.35 a.m. The President would attend various programmes in Kozhikode, Malappuram and Ernakulam districts during his visit to the State.

The programmes of the President in the district are two separate functions at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), near Kunnamangalam, and the Veda Vyasa Vidyalayam at Malaparamba, near here.

The President who would land at the Medical College helipad here at 3.15 p.m. would leave for the IIM at 3.25 p.m. The President who would leave the IIM at 3.55 p.m. would reach the Veda Vyasa Vidyalayam at Malaparamba at 4.15 p.m. The President would interact with the students of various schools here. He would leave the Vidyalayam and reach the helipad at Medical College here at 5.12 p.m.

He would reach the Karipur Airport at 5.30 p.m. and leave for Kochi.
