Defence grills Tirumangalam SI

KANCHEEPURAM SEPT. 23. Cross-examination of the second prosecution witness, in the case of arrest of the MDMK general secretary, Vaiko, and eight other party leaders, arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, continued for the third day today in the special court at Poonamalle, near Chennai.

Senior defence counsel continued to grill Chennakesavan, sub-inspector of the Tirumangalam station, near Madurai, including on the filing of the FIR against Mr. Vaiko and others and his knowledge of the POTA.
