Laminated licences for motorists

CHENNAI SEPT. 23. Motorists who have driving licences in the book/sheet form can approach the concerned regional transport officers for getting laminated licences. The fee payable for getting the laminated cards is Rs. 215 where change of address is involved and Rs. 200 in all other cases.

The new facility has been introduced following representations from the public that they found the licence in book form difficult to carry on two-wheelers, according to an official press release.
