Mumbai special police in city

Hyderabad Sept. 23. A special team of Mumbai police has arrived in the city to investigate about the contacts of Nazir, the alleged kingpin of Mumbai twin blasts who was killed in an encounter by the Mumbai police, it is learnt.

Sources said the Mumbai police were inquiring about a joint bank account held by Nazir and his wife, a Hyderabadi. They were also investigating the possibility of the accused using Hyderabad as a hub to smuggle in and transport the RDX, used for the Mumbai twin blasts, to other places.
