HMA award for historian

HYDERABAD Sept. 23. Historian, art commentator and legal luminary, P.R. Ramachandra Rao, would be honoured with the Life Time Achievement award of the Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) at its 31st annual awards.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, C. Sudhir Babu, secretary of HMA said the award was bring given for his unique achievements and for having manifested a very high level of competence and excellence in pursuit of his vocation and interests. The other awardees include V.H. Ron, former CMD of Electronics Corporation of India (Manager of the Year), Jay Raghavendra Pullur, CEO, Pramati Technologies (Entrepreneur of the year), J. Ravikanth Reddy, Asst. general manager, Rane Engine Valves Ltd (Personnel Manager of the year), Gurunath P. Biradar, Scientist at the DRDL (Young Manager of the year) and V.S. Chakravarthi (Member of the year). The awards would be presented at a function to be held on September 26 at Hotel Fortune Katriya.
