According to a press release, tests on samples of herbal juices revealed that the water used to produce such drinks were not suitable for consumption. Moreover, coliform bacteria and colouring materials, which are hazardous to health, were found in the tests conducted by the Corporation Health department officials. The Corporation appealed the public to avoid such drinks produced in an unhygienic environment. Such products identified to be harmful to health would be confiscated and stringent action taken against those who sold such drinks.
