Advani hopes temple will be built in Ayodhya

By Manas Dasgupta

AHMEDABAD Sept. 25. The Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, today expressed the confidence that a Ram temple would be built in Ayodhya at the same place where the people wanted and with co-operation from all the communities. In a brief address during his visit to the Somnath temple here, Mr. Advani said the people in the country had overcome all crises and they would similarly solve the Ayodhya problem.

Mr. Advani was on a day's visit to Gujarat to inaugurate the Navratri celebrations, which are being organised on a grand scale this year to promote the "Vibrant Gujarat" conference to attract foreign investors to the State. He also unveiled an oil painting of the revolutionary leader, Sardarsinh Rana, at the Veraval circuit house, five km from Somnath
