Another loss for India

NEW DELHI SEPT. 27. India went down 74-103 to Japan in the quarterfinal league of the 22nd Asian basketball championship in Harbin, China, according to information received here on Saturday.

The Japanese dominated the show, leading 26-14 in the first quarter, and stretched the lead to 55-37 by halftime.

S. Sridhar (21), Parminder Singh (14), Riyazuddin (13) were the main scorers for India, while S. Robinson chipped in with eight.

India will play its last quarterfinal league match against Lebanon.
