Letters to the Editor
Sir, The move by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to involve students in assessing the performance of teachers is ridiculous. It is the job of academic supervisors such as principals, vice-principals and educational officers to assess the performance of teachers. They are meant to do it and paid for it. Entrusting the work that needs expertise to children is childish. K. Bhoopathy, Sriharikota, A.P.
