Last date for cancelling higher options

By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 30. Candidates who participated in the centralised allotment process for admission to various professional colleges in the State for the year 2003, and received allotment for any course other than MBBS or BDS and who wish to cancel their higher order option, can do so, till October 8.

This is also applicable for candidates awaiting allotments. The application for the cancellation must be made in the prescribed format. Candidates can cancel their entire option list or can cancel either their engineering or medical options as a group.

Candidates who receive a course/college change in the re-allotment beginning October 2, must compulsorily accept the same. Otherwise their admission and their options in that group will be cancelled, a press note issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, here today said.
