NAGAPATTINAM: The single window system (SWS) concept, aimed to reduce the time taken to complete a banking transaction, has been introduced in the Nagapattinam branch of State Bank of India. Inaugurating the facility, the Assistant General Manager, SBI, Tiruchi Zone, A. Ganesan, said customers could get any type of business transaction completed in any counter since the system was based on `any counter, any transaction'. Mr. Ganesan, in a release, said that this system had been introduced in 24 branches in the Cauvery delta region and steps have been taken to introduce SWS in the remaining 20 branches in this region before this month end.
