According to Kim, Managing Director, LG India, the market in Tamil Nadu had great potential and the company had chalked out a total spend of Rs. 60 crores for sales promotion. In Tamil Nadu LG had managed to notch an impressive growth of 60 per cent in January-August in units sold across all categories, Mr. Kim has stated in a release. LG has recorded a growth of 62 per cent in the consumer electronics segment, a 49 per cent in house appliances and a 67 per cent in IT segment in Tamil Nadu during the period under reference.
