Letters to the Editor
Sir, The special supplement on Gandhi (Oct. 2) is yet another masterpiece from the house of The Hindu. It is not just a few pages of coverage but a brief history of the Indian Independence.
M. Seshagri,
Sir, The editorial and the three pages that were reproduced in the supplement were excellent.
Bidyut Kumar Chatterjee,
Sir, Throughout my career, my academic project reports and professional documents have been appreciated for their language and style. I would attribute my success to The Hindu.
Sir, The Hindu has been my intellectual companion since the early 1960s. But I was almost thrown off balance when I read the elaborate description of the marriage ceremony of actress Karisma ( Sept. 30 ). The heavens will not fall if the readers of your esteemed paper do not read such matters!
B.H. Murugan,
