Democrat opts out of race

By Sridhar Krishnaswami

WASHINGTON OCT. 7. Finding the going extremely difficult, especially on the funds front, Florida's popular Senator, Bob Graham, has bowed out of the Democratic presidential nomination race bringing the field back to the Pack of Nine. He has not endorsed any of his colleagues nor has he ruled out accepting the Vice-Presidential nomination. He has not even said if he will be defending his Senate seat next year. A fierce critic of the war against Iraq, Mr. Graham is the only one who said the President, George W. Bush, could be impeached for taking America to war in Iraq.
