Jawahar HSS, Neyveli hogs limelight

CHENNAI OCT. 8 . Jawahar HSS, Neyveli, grabbed 7 gold medals in the second day of the Jawahar Vidyalaya SSS's CBSE National swimming meet at the SDAT-Velachery Complex here on Wednesday.

100m freestyle: Kunwar Walia (Montfort School, Delhi) 1:01.99s; 50m breaststroke: Sahil Dua (St. Xavier, Jaipur) 0:35.69s; 50m backstroke: Abdul Azeez (Peevees Public School, Nilampur) 0:37.59s; 200m butterfly: Karthikeya Hooda (Modern School, North Zone) 2:43.18s.

U-16: 100m freestyle: Rohit Gupta (Montfort School) 1:00.97s; 50m breaststroke: Prince (HKV Guwahati) 0:36.96s; 50m backstroke: Susanth Krishna (Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Chennai) 0:31.37s; 100m butterfly: Himanshu Jain (St. Xavier, Jaipur) 1:10.15s.
