Badal, wife quizzed by Vigilance Bureau

CHANDIGARH Oct. 8. The former Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal and his wife Surinder Kaur, were questioned by a team of officers of the Punjab Vigilance Bureau today at his official residence. Their son and MP, Sukhbir Singh would be quizzed on Thursday.

The Vigilance team comprising two DIGs and two SPs questioned Mr. Badal and his wife for about three hours at the sector two residence. Top leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal, including the president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) G.S. Tohra and leaders from the alliance partner, BJP, camped outside along with the Akali legislators and workers.
