Kinetic launches Velocity

MUMBAI, OCT. 8. Kinetic Engineering has entered the executive segment of the motorcycles category with the launch of the four-stroke motorcycle, Velocity. The Velocity has a 115 cc four-stroke engine and a mileage of 92 kmpl. The executive segment is growing at over 20 per cent annually.

Kinetic has priced Velocity at Rs. 38,000 (ex-showroom) and has targeted sales of 10,000 units a month by March 2004.

Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Joint Managing Director, Kinetic Engineering, said, "This marks our entry into executive motorcycles which is the largest segment of the bikes market. The Velocity excels in every parameter from power, styling, mileage and features that the consumer is looking for in this segment vis-a-vis competition.''
