There was more good news from the Indian camp, as second-seeded Divij Sharan and R. Arun Prakash beat fourth-seeded Weerapat Doakmaiklee and Kirati Siributwong of Thailand 6-4, 6-3 to make it to the doubles final. Rupesh in both finals Top-seeded Rupesh Roy blanked compatriot Lalit Mann 6-0, 6-0 to make it to his second successive final in the ITF junior tennis tournament in Islamabad, Pakistan on Friday. In the final, Rupesh will meet Shahzad Khan of Pakistan, who ousted second-seeded Sumit Prakash Gupta 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. In the boys' doubles semifinals, top-seeded Rupesh and Sumit Prakash defeated third-seeded Shahzad Khan and Wasif Cheema of Pakistan 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 to set up a title clash with second-seeded N.S. Nishendiran of Sri Lanka and Vivek Shokeen who beat Peerakit Siributwong of Thailand and Kaushik Das 6-3, 6-3. In the girls' doubles final, top-seeded G.K. Shweta and Poojashree Venkatesh defeated second-seeded Punjaporn Ditthim and Punchanik Khunpitak of Thailand 6-4, 6-1. Bad day for Sania Top-seeded Sania Mirza lost both her singles and doubles semifinals in the second $10,000 ITF women's circuit tennis tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday. The 16-year-old Sania, who had won her sixth singles title on the professional tour last week, went down 6-2, 3-6, 2-6 to the 741st-ranked Montinee Tangphong of Thailand in the semifinals. In the doubles semifinals, top-seeded Sania and Rushmi Chakravarthi lost 6-4, 3-6, 4-6 to Sandy Gumulya and Wukirasih Sawondari of Indonesia.
