Iranian wins Nobel Peace

OSLO Oct. 10. Iranian lawyer Shirin Ebadi won the Nobel Peace Prize today for her work defending human rights, in an award aimed at inspiring democratic reform across the Muslim world. Ms. Ebadi won from a record field of 165 candidates.
