ISTE convention

HYDERABAD OCT. 10. The Minister for Technical Education, N Anjaneyulu, inaugurated the sixth annual national convention of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) at the JNTU College of Engineering on Friday.

The two-day convention is being attended by over 600 delegates from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat in addition to 16 delegates from Nepal.

It features technical and textbooks exhibitions as well as technical quiz and essay-writing competitions.

Demonstrations of the mini projects prepared by students are also being conducted for the first time.
