Kalpana Parulekar to head NCP in M.P.

NEW DELHI OCT. 11. The Nationalist Congress Party today appointed the legislator, Kalpana Parulekar, as the chief of the party's Madhya Pradesh unit. The NCP president, Sharad Pawar, announced the newly-reconstituted unit. The NCP also appointed two vice-presidents, five general secretaries, 11 secretaries and six working committee members in the State unit. Earlier this week, the NCP general secretary, Tariq Anwar, said that the NCP was gaining ground in the State under Dr. Parulekar.
