Naxals kill `informer'

ANANTAPUR OCT. 11. Naxalites belonging to the Penukonda dalam of the People's War killed a villager of Duddebanda in Penukonda mandal of the district late last night accusing him of being a police informer. They left a letter with the villagers stating that others, who act as police informers, would meet the same fate.

According to the police, about half a dozen armed naxalites of the Penukonda dalam led by the dalam commander, Vamsi alias Srinivas, went to the village around 11.30 p.m. and called Kuruba Ramanjaneyulu (35) outside and shot him dead.
