`Apply spiritual teachings in daily life'

HYDERABAD OCT. 11. A unique two-day workshop `LIFE' (Living in Freedom-an Enquiry) based on spiritual inputs from the east and west was inaugurated at the Dr. M. C. R. Human Resource Development (MCRHRD) Institute of Andhra Pradesh, here on Saturday.

Swami Sukhabodhananda, international management and spiritual master addressed the gathering comprising Ministers, bureaucrats, senior officials and their families.

Swamiji spoke on the `Navarasas' and advocated that every one should awaken and balance the navrasas to become more effective. He also emphasised on the practicality of applying the spiritual teachings in daily life. Spirituality would make a person a total quality individual leading to total quality management, he said.

He also dealt on another model of management -- the whole brain theory which explains the four quadrants of brain consisting of the logical, planning, kinesthetic and playfulness and intuitive and how any individual should balance all the four quadrants to be effective, creative and celebrative in life. The Director-General of the Institute P. V. R. K. Prasad, welcomed the gathering.
