Letters to the Editor
Sir, I refer to the jumbo size Uttar Pradesh Ministry. Such a rare experiment with democracy should be appreciated. Mulayam Singh Yadav will have to face some teething problems though. These may include having to deal with a Cabinet which is almost as big as a college classroom; it may take him months, even years, to memorise the names of his Ministers, the constituencies they represent, the portfolio they hold and so on. Another problem he is likely to face is of course to find work for all his 98 colleagues.
Ramadas T.R.,
