Solemn occasion

Sir, — It was a solemn occasion not only for Priyanka and Rahul when the President, Abdul Kalam, dedicated the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial to the nation (Oct. 11). His prayer for national unity and for strength to combat divisive forces was moving.
