Concerted action

Sir, — There are reports in the media that the People's War has contacts with terrorist groups such as the LTTE. Although naxalites are a big challenge to the Andhra Pradesh Government, they also have a presence in Bihar, Orissa, Karnataka, and Kerala. As suggested by S.M. Krishna, naxal-affected States should form a common front to tackle the menace.

C.A.C. Murugappan,
Sivagangai, T.N.
