Cloud seeding in A.P., Maharashtra

Bangalore Oct. 13. The relative success of the cloud seeding operations over the past several weeks has prompted the Irrigation Department to organise a workshop on weather modification.

The keynote address will be by Roelof Bruintjes, Project Scientist, National Centre for Atmospheric Research, Colorado, U. S.

As a fallout of the operation in Karnataka, similar work has been taken up in parts of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh by Weather Modification Inc. of the U.S. and Agni Consultants, Bangalore.
