36 child labourers rescued

NIZAMABAD OCT. 13. Officials of the District Primary Education Project (DPEP) have freed 36 children engaged as labourers in brick kilns and building construction sites in Dichpalli mandal.

The DPEP Community Mobilisation Officer, Sudhakar Rao, conducted intensive raids on the brick kilns and construction sites and identified the child labourers in Suddapalli and Sampalligudi tanda.

The children, after being freed from work, were admitted to the Dichpalli residential bridge school run by the DPEP. The Mandal Education Officer, Md. Ali Jinnah, and the Mandal Resource Person, Raghavendra Rao, accompanied Mr. Sudhakar Rao during the raids.
