By Our Staff Reporter

Bangalore Oct. 14. The R.G. Vaidyanatha Commission of Inquiry, probing the abduction and death of the former Minister, H. Nagappa, will visit his house at Kamagere in Kollegal taluk and inspect the place where his body was found in the Changadi forest, on November 8 and 9.

Mr. Justice Vaidyanatha, who saw the videotape made by the Forensic Science Laboratory officials on the area where the body of Nagappa was recovered in the Changadi forest, today told presspersons that the commission, along with forensic experts, would inspect those places.

On November 8, they would go to Nagappa's residence and examine the route along which the forest brigand, Veerappan, took Nagappa into the forests. On November 9, they would go to the Changadi forest and also fix the date for recording the statements of witnesses in Bangalore.

Prominent among those who will be called before the commission for examination are the former Minister, Raju Gowda, police officers from the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, and the State's Security Adviser, T. Srinivasulu.

The Home Secretary, the Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar district, and the Assistant Commissioner of Kollegal, who had filed affidavits, would appear before the commission, he said.

Kiran Patel, son-in-law of Nagappa, who was present, said that in his affidavit he had mentioned the names of the Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna, the Home Minister, Mallikarjun Kharge, and the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, D.B. Chandre Gowda.

He said that he had stated in his affidavit that Mr. Krishna and the two Ministers did not show any interest in interacting with him during the 105-day hostage episode.
