President for life

Sir, — This is with reference to the news item that there was no celebration marking the beginning of Pervez Musharraf's fourth year in power ( Oct. 13 ). But why should there be any? He is the Pakistan President for life as he continues to satisfy the hopes and aspirations of the Americans.
