VHP sources claimed that around 40,000 Ram bhakts had already arrived in the city and the numbers continued to swell. All the tents erected to accommodate them were full, and it was getting difficult to manage the increasing influx. He said that in a democracy, every person had the right to perform religious rituals. Jagatguru Madhavacharya of Udupi Swami Visheswar Teerth also criticised the State Government for restricting the entry of the Ram Bhakts in Ayodhya. UNI
