Recognition to Sanskrit varsity

KOCHI OCT. 15. The Parliamentary Sub-committee for Universities and Higher Education, which visited the Sree Sankara Sanskrit University at Kalady and the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) here today said that UGC recognition should be granted to the Sanskrit University.

No technical requirement should be allowed to hamper in awarding the B-12 status to the university, the panel said. The 13-member committee, led by its convener, Abdussamad Samadani, MP, interacted with the senior members of the varsity.
