Vocational training programme ends

KOLLAM Oct. 18. The Union Minister of State for Defence, O. Rajagopal, will inaugurate the valedictory function of the vocational training programme for the educated unemployed from the coastal Pallithottam area of Kollam organised by the Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS).

In a statement here, the Jan Shikshan Sansthan director, N. Balagopal, said that the former Finance Minister, C.V. Padmarajan, will deliver the keynote address at the function to be held at the Fishermen Community Development Programme Hall here on Sunday.

The programme comprised vocational training in soap manufacturing, fruit processing, fabric painting, rural engineering and candle manufacturing.

All those who had successfully completed the training programme would be given certificates on the occasion.
